AVRIL LOFTS

At Avril Lofts, demolition of the old Avril Bleh market space is complete, and crews will now begin to build their expanded meat processing facility and new walk-up grill window, which will complement the expanded Avril Bleh space that opened last month. On the building’s second floor, demolition and rough framing are complete in the condo units. Drywall hanging is underway in the third-floor condo units and was recently completed in the fourth-floor units. Flooring will be installed in the coming weeks.

THE FOUNDRY

At The Foundry, the buildouts for Royce, Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse and the Turner Construction office continue. Turner is expected to move into its new space early this month. On the building’s exterior, sidewalk plantings are in place and lighting has been installed on the traffic poles.

WILLKOMMEN

Work on the Willkommen project has been moving swiftly as crews push closer to completion. To date, only three buildings are still in progress, including 1512 Vine Street, 1521 Republic Street, and 1602 Pleasant Street. Recent work in these buildings has focused on appliance installation in the residential units. Warmer temperatures have allowed crews to accomplish even more work than they had been during the colder months, keeping Willkommen on track to wrap up this spring.
