Public Invited to Celebrate Newly Branded Fountain District During ‘Launch Party’ Weekend

Businesses in the District to Offer Exclusive Beverages, Special Discounts and More

 CINCINNATI (August 21, 2024) – The team behind the new branding campaign for the area surrounding Fountain Square, Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC), is encouraging patrons to come celebrate the introduction of the Fountain District during a Launch Party over Labor Day weekend. From Thursday, Aug. 29, until Monday, Sept. 2, numerous businesses in the area will offer special discounts and promotions to celebrate the district’s debut.

Comprised of a significant collection of elevated, uniquely Cincinnati restaurants and bars, thriving arts and entertainment institutions and lively civic spaces in the city’s urban core, the Fountain District was created in an effort to support and promote the businesses within the district’s footprint, while establishing the area as a downtown destination.

“We want people to know about everything the Fountain District has to offer, and we want to make them aware in a way that encourages them to visit the bars, restaurants and entertainment venues in person,” said Emily Stowe, Senior Event Marketing Manager for 3CDC. “The Launch Party will be a great opportunity to come explore the district and experience everything it has to offer, all while enjoying discounts and specials from some of the most exciting establishments in the area.”

Launch Party specials will include extended happy hour pricing, specialty cocktails & menus, temporary specialty-priced menu items and more.
