CINCINNATI (October 15, 2019) – Leaders from the City of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC), TriVersity Construction, and First Commonwealth Bank gathered this morning to celebrate the completion of the Court Street Condos, a $8.6 million project that adds 16 new condominiums and six commercial spaces to Downtown Cincinnati.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in front of one of the six historic buildings that were renovated during the project. This is 3CDC’s first residential project south of Central Parkway.
The mixed-use development, which began construction in 2018, includes a total renovation of six historic buildings along the north side of Court Street, just across the street from the organization’s Court & Walnut project, which includes the new Kroger grocery store.
3CDC served as the developer on the project, and TriVersity Construction Co., a minority-owned business, served as the construction manager. First Commonwealth Bank financed the project while Platte Architecture provided vision and concept for the interior and exterior design.
Roughly 25 percent of the subcontractors on this project were minority-owned businesses, a level of inclusion that 3CDC has committed to bringing to each development.
Multiple residential units are now listed on the market. Each condo features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood floors and sleek, modern finishes. One unit has sold, and an additional six units are already under contract. 3CDC is also currently leasing several of the street-level commercial spaces to interested restaurateurs and retailers.
