O Pie O to open second location in OTR

CINCINNATI (October 31, 2019) – O Pie O, a bakery that serves handcrafted sweet and savory pies, will open a second location in Over-the-Rhine.

O Pie O has leased an 895-square-foot space at 32 E. 13^th Street from the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC). Build out on the space has not started yet, but Louis Ginocchio III, co-founder and marketer for O Pie O, expects the location to open in early winter.

O Pie O is a family business that started selling pies in a tent in the historic Findlay Market before opening a brick-and-mortar in East Walnut Hills. Now the bakery is looking to expand to Over-the-Rhine.

The Over-the-Rhine location will vary slightly in concept compared to its Walnut Hills location. As a hot bakery, the OTR location will have some indoor seating and an outdoor patio but will focus on “grab-and-go” eats and other takeout. O Pie O in Over-the-Rhine will also introduce new menu options such as daily biscuits and other new baked goods, as well as gluten-free and vegan items.

“We’ll have very friendly price points and we plan to serve customers breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks,” Ginocchio said. “It’s going to be very convenient for people living in, working in, and visiting Downtown and Over-the-Rhine.”

The location will also offer catering and large-party orders.
