Vintage on Race Plans Grand Opening in 3CDC’s Foundry Development
CINCINNATI (August 12, 2024) – Further Concepts and Investors, the same hospitality management company behind Baru, Lori’s Road House and Voices of America Country Music Fest, will celebrate the grand opening of its newest concept, Vintage on Race, Friday, Aug. 30. Located in an 8,000-square-foot space at 500 Race Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s mixed-use Foundry development, the sports and entertainment concept is a great place to catch a game, grab a drink and enjoy live music.
“We’re excited to be bringing Vintage on Race to the Fountain District and to make this a home base for grabbing a bite to eat, watching a game, and celebrating life’s moments, both big and small,” Tyler Wogenstahl, Owner of Further Concepts and Investors, said. “Vintage was built as a place for people to spectate socially – a place to stop in and hang out while you’re out enjoying the city. It’s going to be a terrific addition to Cincinnati’s urban core.”
The bar & lounge, designed by GBBN, will feature a 9-foot by 36-foot video wall for sports viewing, with other large TVs at every viewing angle. The color palette and décor, which includes hues of gold, copper orange, magenta, and deep blues, used throughout the space give it a retro vibe that feels both luxurious and comfortable. Wogenstahl set out to make it a place that serves multiple purposes – somewhere you can relax, celebrate, or meet up with coworkers at the end of the workday. Centrally located downtown within the newly-brand Fountain District, Vintage will be a convenient hangout for office workers, residents and visitors alike.
“We are very focused on connecting Fountain Square to the Convention District, and Vintage will be a key contributor in that effort,” said Lindzie Gunnels, Director of Commercial Leasing with 3CDC. “With Vintage joining The Foundry’s impressive list of establishments, including Jeff Ruby’s, Five Iron and The Davidson, in addition to Crown Restaurant Group’s new concept coming later this year, this is an unmatched dining hotspot that will certainly help bridge the gap between the two areas. Tyler has considerable experience in both the dining and entertainment industries, and we’re excited to see how he sets this new concept apart.”
With a menu that is elevated enough to keep things exciting, yet approachable enough to come multiple times a month and not get bored, Vintage will offer familiar Midwest favorites ranging from pie pan nachos to the “Vintage Meal,” which includes a burger or nuggets, fries and an adult beverage or shake. A variety of healthier options will also be available to accommodate varying diets.
“Vintage’s food will be a mix of Classic American, unique, eclectic, and healthy fare options you expect to find in a diverse city like Cincinnati,” said Vintage Head Chef Robert Grace. “Classic items include Crispy wings, classic American Burger, and Deep-dish Nachos. Items like Buffalo Cauliflower, Grilled Avocado Smash, and a Killer Kale Salad will appeal to those looking for healthier options – but it doesn’t end there. Brunch will have its own standouts like Red Velvet Ricotta Donuts, a breakfast stir-fry inspired by sister restaurant Baru, and Hot Chicken and Waffles. Vintage is a place where you can come in anytime and delight in the food, drinks, and atmosphere.”
Guests can enjoy lunch, happy hour and dinner on weekdays, in addition to brunch on the weekends. Monday through Thursday, Vintage will be open from 11 AM to 11 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 2 AM and Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM. During the grand opening, guests will be invited to meet former Bengals wide receiver AJ Green and other special guests. The event is open to the public and reservations encouraged but not required.
Valet parking will be available, as well as self-parking in a number of surrounding garages, including The Foundry, 84.51°, Fountain Square, and Fourth & Race.
