CINCINNATI CONVENTION CENTER
The construction team continues to make good progress on the demolition phase of the convention center, focusing on both the exterior and interior of the building. Earlier this month, crews removed the skywalk over Sixth Street and started demolition work on the building’s main entrance at the corner of Fifth and Elm streets. With all materials received and prep work complete, the building’s roof replacement is now underway. On the interior, crews are continuing architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system demolition work. Concrete masonry unit walls are going up for the new food and beverage service alcoves in the first floor exhibit halls. PAYCOR HEADQUARTERS
At Paycor headquarters, the construction team is making great headway on exterior project tasks. Crews are currently sheathing and waterproofing areas where terracotta accents will be in the future. In preparation for the building’s new glass façade, crews are installing curtain wall framing on Fifth Street. Additional façade work is progressing sequentially around the building. Earlier this month, Duke Energy completed installing a new gas service pipeline into the building.
