4TH & RACE
Construction is progressing at the 4th & Race project site, with the boring operation and all underground work completed in June. Masons have installed foam for the slab on the foam ramps, and crews continued forming decks and columns for pours at multiple areas of the building. BEHLEN
The elevator shaft has been installed at the Behlen Building, and the historical stairs have been repaired. Additionally, crews continue to frame the interior walls, and they will install windows this month. Finally, stairs from the first floor to the basement will be completed this month.
COLUMBIA FLATS
At the Columbia, crews are continuing to finish interior work at the south portion of the building, which houses 18 units. Work includes interior painting and installing hardwood, carpet and cabinetry. At the north portion of the building, drywall finishing is ongoing in another 18 units. Windows for the units are expected to arrive this week, and crews are prepping and painting the exterior iron-cast storefront columns. The courtyard is undergoing regrading and underground plumbing.
COURT & WALNUT
At the Court & Walnut site, crews finished hanging rails for exterior fins on the south side of the building, and the electrical and plumbing rough-ins were finished on Floor 13. In recent weeks, crews have been installing cabinets and interior doors on Floor 11 as well as roof panels. COURT STREET CONDOS
At the Court Street Condos, crews are hard at work painting the exterior of the west group of buildings. The installation of bathroom tile and hardwood floors is ongoing in the east group of buildings while drywall is being installed in the west group. Crews are also finishing up storefront repairs.
ELM INDUSTRIES
Crews finished installing the rooftop AC units at the Elm Industries, and they are currently working on forming the elevator shaft and framing the elevator lobbies. Interior framing is occurring on the third and fourth floors, and drywall is hanging on the second floor. In the coming weeks, the exterior of the building will be painted.
MEINERS
At Meiners, the windows have already been installed on Floors 3, 4 and 5, and will be installed on Floors 2 and 6 this week. Drywall has also been installed on Floors 2, 3, 4 and 5. The historical stairwell in the building is being repaired, and the storefront windows on Vine Street will be installed in the coming weeks. Wood flooring will be installed this month.
RENNEN & BEECHER FLATS
At Rennen & Beecher Flats, crews are finished with construction. Multiple condos are still for sale, and 3CDC is working on securing leases for two out of three commercial spaces within the building.
