CINCINNATI (January 3, 2013) – The holidays are over and the U.S. Bank Ice Rink on Fountain Square is just heating up! See below for a list of activities and events through February—including the return of some old favorites and the addition of FREE weekly ice skating lessons.

Effective January 6 – February 14

Sunday through Thursday – Noon to 6pm

Friday & Saturday – Noon to 10pm

Cost: Admission $3, Skate Rental $3

RADIO SKATES

Saturdays, January 4 – February 8, 6pm – 10pm

Spend your Saturday evenings listening to DJ Pillo spin tracks and drop beats while skating on the U.S. Bank Ice Rink. Admission and skate rentals are only $3 each. FAMILY SKATES

Sundays, January 5 – February 9, Noon to 6pm

Bring the whole family to Fountain Square on January and February Sundays for winter fun on the ice! Children 12 and under skate for free each Sunday from noon to 6pm when accompanied by an adult – thanks to Kroger’s generous sponsorship. FREE ICE SKATING LESSONS

Sundays, January 5 – February 9, 1pm – 2pm

Fountain Square is now offering FREE Ice Skating Lessons, courtesy of the Cincinnati Skating School. The Cincinnati Skating School is a non-profit group ice skating program whose goal is to provide quality skating instruction by certified, professional instructors, in a safe environment.

HGC CONSTRUCTION BROOMBALL LEAGUES

January 6 – February 15

Mondays – Thursdays, 6pm – 9pm

Saturdays, 9am – 11am

Sponsored by HGC Construction, 2014 marks the eighth season of HGC Broomball. Live announcers call each game and the LED screen becomes a scoreboard, time clock and live coverage.
