Event space and décor studio now open in Over-the-Rhine

CINCINNATI (August 1, 2019) – A new party venue and décor studio has opened in Over-the-Rhine.

The Confetti Room provides the ultimate venue and décor studio for your next chic party. Owner Simone Charles leased her new 1,600-square-foot space, located at 1531 Race St., from Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC). The Confetti Room caters to events like bridal and baby showers as well as rehearsal dinners. The dual-sided space can accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated reception.

The studio also offers custom event décor, rentals, balloon garlands, and luxury floral boxes. Rental rates are priced affordably, ranging from $275 to $1,250. The space is partnering with Thunderdome Restaurant Group on catering deals for the space.

“We want to give people those Instagram-able moments,” she said. “Everything is customizable. I had this vision in my head of how beautiful and luxurious bridal boutiques are, and that’s what I wanted to give to people for their events.”

The Confetti Room is already booking event requests, but will celebrate its Grand Opening on August 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The celebration will feature light bites, music, mimosas, giveaways and, of course, lots of confetti.
