Local Entrepreneur Rico Grant Celebrates Grand Opening of LoVe on Fourth

CINCINNATI (December 5, 2023) – Rico Grant celebrated the grand opening his newest space, LoVe on Fourth, late last week. The elevated nightclub, which caters to young, high-energy corporate professionals and creatives, was highly anticipated and highlighted a variety of talented DJs. The seasoned entrepreneur, who also owns Gallery at Gumbo and Cinema OTR, and founded Paloozanoire, is embracing the opportunity to expand his footprint into the Central Business District.

LoVe features bottle service, a DJ booth with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, eight VIP sections and more, pairing a nightclub with Grade A hospitality. The club follows a strict dress code, requiring a fashion-forward & posh approach for all, prohibiting attire like athletic shorts, torn jeans and flip flops. VIP reservations and bottle service can be booked online – and even folks not booking VIP sections are encouraged to RSVP online for free to allow for faster entry.

While LoVe had extended hours during its grand opening, the nightclub is typically open Friday through Sunday. Grant recognized the need for an earlier happy hour to accommodate young professionals working downtown and made it his mission to fill the void with LoVe.

“Other big cities do happy hour really well,” said Grant. “Cincinnati just does it too late. LoVe will be opening at 4 PM on Fridays so people can come straight from work to relax and have a drink to kick off the weekend before heading home, to dinner or out for the night.”

Beginning this Friday, Dec. 8, LoVe will host ‘Professional Recess’ beginning at 4 PM. The weekly happy hour event will be an adult version of Grant’s favorite class in school – recess. Patrons can also look forward to ‘LoVe on Sunday’ – a play on words for LIV Nightclub’s ‘LIV on Sunday’ event in Miami, Florida.

In addition to catering to young businesspeople, LoVe is at the forefront of a growing area for Downtown businesses. LoVe is located just west of the recently completed Foundry project on Fountain Square, which features Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, Five Iron Golf, and several upcoming concepts. The venue is also just east and the impending Convention Center District project, which involves the renovation of the Duke Energy Convention Center and construction of a new convention headquarters hotel. LoVe will be one of the businesses that serves as a connection to these two areas, giving residents and visitors alike an exciting entertainment venue to experience whether they’re visiting from out of town or a young professional looking for something fun to do after work.

“It’s always inspiring to watch Rico take an idea and run with it,” said Lindzie Gunnels, Commercial Leasing Manager for 3CDC. “He had a specific vision for this space and nothing could stop him from making it happen. We have the utmost confidence that Rico will activate this space in a way that will keep people coming back for more – and help seamlessly connect the Convention Center District to Fountain Square.”

Aside from its normal weekend operating hours, LoVe will serve as a small event center during the week. The space is available to rent for private events like corporate functions, holiday celebrations and more. Interested parties can inquire on LoVe’s website: https://www.loveonfourth.com/.

LoVe Nightclub is located at 138 W. Fourth Street in 3CDC’s $118 million 4th & Race project. The development, which includes a 584-space above-grade parking garage, 22,000-square-feet of street-level commercial space and a 264-unit apartment building, is also home to neighboring tenants BB.Q and Paris Baguette.
