Pitaya Brings Budget-Friendly Fashion to the Neighborhood
CINCINNATI (October 19, 2017) – Pitaya, a women’s boutique featuring affordably priced yet fashionable women’s apparel and accessories, officially opened to the public yesterday. Located at 1423 Vine Street, Pitaya carries a diverse selection of the most current trends, catering to the “fashionista-on-a-budget” and restocks a large portion of its inventory on a weekly basis.
Although preliminary plans were to open the store elsewhere, Pitaya’s owner, Michael Mazor, ultimately decided OTR was the best fit for his new shop. This will be Pitaya’s 15th brick-and-mortar store, most of which are located on college campuses.
“Originally, we’d planned on opening closer to the University of Cincinnati, but I was captivated by the spirit and enthusiasm of the OTR community and wanted to be part of the renaissance happening there,” Mazor said. “The community is clearly excited and proud of what’s happening there, as they should be. We’re thrilled to be a part of it as well.”
With Pitaya’s frequently-changing selection and reasonable prices, Mazor anticipates that the store will attract nearby college students and others looking to stay current with fashion trends without running up a big bill. Whether dressing for a date night, staying casual, or just looking for the basics, Pitaya has it all – and all Pitaya label items are made right here in the USA. The boutique offers the latest trends in women’s clothing, from denim and dresses to rompers and sweaters. Pitaya also carries accessories, including jewelry, handbags, sunglasses and more.
Pitaya is leasing its new 1,375-square-foot space from the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC). The street-level commercial space is the northernmost space in 3CDC’s Parvis Lofts development, and is next door to the organization’s soon-to-be completed 15th and Vine project.
