PAINT BUILDING
Completed Project
This $5.7 million project included the restoration of this historic building into 6,173 square feet of upscale office space over two upper floors and 6,100 square feet of street-level restaurant space. This building has housed saloons, opera houses and vaudeville theaters in its storied history, and Ezzard Charles trained on its third floor on his way to becoming Cincinnati’s only heavyweight champion. The most recent occupant, Cincinnati Color Company, installed a large “Paint” sign that stretches from the second floor to the rooftop in front of the building and remains today. Kaze, a Japanese sushi and whisky bar now occupies the street-level restaurant space and its upper floors are leased by Four Entertainment Group (4EG).
