Unique Co-Working Location Set to Debut in Early 2019
CINCINNATI (July 3, 2018) – Spaces, the pioneer in creative, flexible workspaces, today signed a lease for the top four floors of the recently completed 15th & Vine commercial development. This will be the first Spaces location to open in Cincinnati and the company will be leasing a roughly 45,000-square-foot portion of the building – located at 1435 Vine Street – from the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC).
Spaces has been specifically designed to meet the needs of a variety of business models and growth stages by offering a wide range of inspired, flexible workspace options. It is part of IWG, the global leader in flexible workspaces that currently operates in over 3,000 flexible workspace centers across more than 110 countries, with continual expansion every year.
“Cincinnati is already a hub for thriving, established businesses and the city is seeing a rise in startups looking to call the region home base,” said Michael Berretta, Vice President of Network Development for IWG. “This new location will be the perfect place where members can connect, network and be a part of a community of innovators determined to succeed.”
Spaces members will have numerous opportunities to facilitate new connections and elevate the growth of their company. Whether individuals are crunching numbers, meeting with a group or flying solo, the private offices, dedicated desks, open-area business club, and fully equipped meeting rooms, provide opportunities for a wide variety of working scenarios. Members can utilize different work areas based on their changing business needs.
“We feel like Spaces is the ideal tenant for our 15th & Vine development,” Joe Rudemiller, 3CDC’s Director of Communications, said. “This concept will accommodate working professionals and businesses alike, and it will be the perfect fit for the start-up ecosystem developing at Union Hall on Vine Street and elsewhere throughout downtown Cincinnati. Businesses will be able to use this as a transitional space during the start-up process, before taking the leap to a more permanent workspace.”
15th & Vine, which was built on a speculative basis, was just completed in April, and today, its 55,000-square-feet of commercial and office space has been completely leased up. The $19.5 million project included a combination of new construction and the renovation of existing buildings. The structure spans the area from 1425 to 1437 Vine Street and also includes 5 W. 15th Street. In addition to Spaces, tenants include Sacred Beast, A World of Beads and two others who will be announced in the coming weeks.
Spaces plans to open its doors in Over-the-Rhine next year. For additional information on Spaces, as well as their memberships and services, visit www.spacesworks.com.
